THE ARCHITECTURE OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND THE ARCHAEOLOGY OF ARCHITECTURE
ROMA 15 -17 Settembre 2005

The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for a dialogue on architecture and archaeology, and the numerous ways in which the two fields intersect. Of interest are
archaeological sites with significant architectural artifacts , as well as, the collaborative work between architects, archaeologists, urbanists , historians, and museologists in the
preservation, restoration, and reconstruction of these sites.

The conference takes place in Rome, Italy from September 15 th to September 17 th , 2005 at the British School at Rome and the Facolta Di Architettura , "Valle Giulia ,"
Universita Degli Studi Di Roma, " La Sapienza . "

This conference is held in concert with the Third International Workshop/Seminar " Premio Piranesi " for Villa Adriana, Tivoli and Rome .
